Angel Fund Charity

($ 50.00)

The PPWC Angel Tree program has changed from providing wrapped gifts for every child to providing gift cards to the kids and their families so they may help with resources like the kids’ wish lists and potential basic necessities.

In response to the unique requests of children placed away from their families, Angel Tree offers gifts. These presents are provided by kindhearted “Angels,” who are anonymous benefactors from various organizations and businesses. Each year, social workers at Children and Family Services work with the kids on their caseloads to create the cards. Each child is asked what gifts they would most like to receive.

Each card lists three presents in case the Angel giver is unable to locate a certain item that is listed. Once all the gifts have been gathered, they are sorted and given back to the social workers so that the kids can receive them.

To ensure that no child is let down or left out, this program is run smoothly at all times.

Over the years, thousands of foster children and teenagers have received gifts and the assurance that they have not forgotten thanks to the kindness of local donors.
